  • Augmented Reality in global promotion of performances

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I began conversations with one of the largest and most famous performance spaces in NYC - Carnegie Hall. The talks came about as we realized that many of our premiere performance spaces around the world have put all their eggs dangerously into one basket. Many of them are now facing the realities of needing to expand their subscriber base far beyond the physical walls of the actual performance spaces in order to insulate them economically without watering down the quality of the artists’ work they feature.

As a team we are exploring what additional offerings we can create to gain more subscribers beyond the local community. An idea like global subscriptions for every museum and performance space in the world would give them a better chance of guaranteeing steady revenue streams so we can keep the arts an important part of human culture forevermore. With these additions, no fine arts performance spaces will ever have to fear their own demise when we face similar shutdowns or disruptions in the future.

Below you will find both a section with Augmented Reality promotional opportunities as well as our main focus at Refit Or Die: Immersive experiences that can create a global subscriber base to stabilize these cathedrals of culture through any event in the future which might again limit physical attendance.

Augmented Reality Promotional Opportunities

As museums and the institutions that house humanity’s greatest actors, dancers, singers and musicians work to engage their audiences more and more, Augmented Reality is going to be a significant factor in all promotional materials.

Augmented Reality Subscriber Offerings

I firmly believe that the arts can reach more of our communities with messages that will actually affect good change in the world. Above are a few concepts of offerings that could be specialized and adapted to each museum or institution as needed.
