Our original pitch for a broadcast series on repurposing and the world around us began with the title REFITTING THE PLANET.
The pilot was received very well, landed me an agent and started production company talks.
Had the actual business of T.O.M.T. been in a more solid place, Refitting The Planet might be on the air right now.
The original pilot continued to evolve, inspiring the possibility of an artist broadcasting platform that would allow masses of American artists to produce their own content. The first obstacle was to evaluate if artists could create compelling content without having to become skilled filmmakers. The series called REFIT OR DIE began to make this determination. It seems confirmed that artists could create their own content and keep focus on their work.
Below you can watch segments of the pitch pilot REFITTING THE PLANET as well as the singularly produced Commune Network experiment called REFIT OR DIE (obviously this name continued to evolve into what all you see here on this site.)
