The Furniture
My first piece of furniture was a coffee table made from a restroom stall door and copper plumbing. I had no idea where that one piece of furniture would end up leading, but I quickly found tremendous excitement in building large pieces that we live with in the spaces we call home. Too often we buy furniture simply just to place the objects we love upon, into, or around. With my work, I suggest we love every single item in our home, including every chair we sit in and table we may sit at.

Vanity Series - In Progress
This is a new idea, inspired by COVID-19. I think the vanity and ego of the American people in the face of a pandemic is a difficult and complex thing to express. With this growing series of vanities, I sure am going to try to capture the numerous complexities.
The first sketch (above) focuses on medical obsessions in the quest for perfection despite how we hypocritically preach to our children that they should just be themselves.
The next vanity in the series uses a sulky (the cart a jockey sits in) to play off of the race horse mentality of human vanity; that idea that youth and the ability to stay in front of the pack is our only value. If you slow down even a bit, well… off to the glue factory with you.
There has never been a time like 2020 where I have witnessed everything on earth groaning out, expressing humanities need to evolve. We can do better. These vanities are going to help me further explore our current behavior and human vanity in the shadow of a fierce pandemic and growing climate issues and the increasing human needs globally. There’s a lot more to come here.
Cabinets, Storage & Shelves
From shovels to suitcases and even a walker – there are no limits here! If it can store things or keep things off the floor then it is fair game.
Various Tables
From dining and conference tables to occasional tables for any room – There are no options out there that would make a greater impact in a conference room than what I could design for you. Check out the QUALITY conference table.
Seating
My seating has been received by the media very warmly and I have been strongly encouraged to design a lot more of the furniture we lounge and rest upon.
Various Small Objects
While surrounded by such whimsical designs in a studio space full of objects yet to be repurposed,
I simply have to let inspiration guide me into these small afternoon projects. Tiny but mighty, they deserve some of the limelight the big projects get.
Enjoy!
