After the 2020 election it became absolutely clear that Americans need a much better understanding of how the government works, including why we have three separate branches to keep an eye on each other. I know I myself struggle with undestanding some of the basic things about how our government operates.
CIVICUS is an augmented reality app that creates a three dimensional model of how the government works. It can switch from how the three branches of government maintain checks and balances within the system, keep the user updated on legislative changes and show voting habits of WHAT/WHO. A model will be created showing how the voting systems work which would bring attention to gerrymandering and the differences between voter fraud and voter suppression.
The app will be designed with animation so you can watch an idea go from concept to law. You’ll also be able to switch different parts on and off for a cleaner user experience.
The ultimate focus of the app would be to show the sacredness of our Constitution and how important the different branches of the government are to maintaining a vibrant functioning democracy.
